Rochelle
aka The Road Trip Junkie
Rochelle was raised in
Denver, Colorado where she received a
degree in Geography from the University
of Northern Colorado. She left
university several times in order to
travel about. Rochelle worked in
horticultural research between Colorado
and Hawaii for a number of years before
relocating to
New Zealand. She was lucky enough
to score a great job in NZ that allowed
her six months off a year, which she
took full advantage of. For five
years she spent six months per year
traveling.
Rochelle has traveled extensively
throughout
New Zealand,
Australia,
Fiji,
French Polynesia,
Italy, Czech Republic, Thailand,
Laos, Vietnam,
Cambodia, Singapore,
Nepal,
China,
Mongolia and
Russia.
She has also traveled to Mexico, France
and Bali to a lesser extent.
For the past four years, Rochie has been co-hosting
Travel Hub Radio and is now ready to take the show on
the road.
Rochie is well into road
trippin'. In fact, she has to hit the road for a
least a bit of a road trip every couple months in order
to stay sane. This trip has been a dream for many
years...this should make her quite the happy camper.
Little
Blue Subaru (auto-biography)
Hello.
I'm a Subaru Outback and I was born in 2005. The first couple of years of my
life I lived in the mountains in Colorado as many of us Outbacks do. My first
family traded me and my sister (an Outback as well) in for newer models. My
therapist helped out a lot with that one.
December 2006 was to change my life forever. I would be moving from Snowy
Colorado to Sunny California. My new mom, Rochelle, traded in here VW Bug, for
me. The Subaru Outback was, is and will always be her dream car. She has said
many times that if she had all the money in the world she would still buy an
Outback. And so it was to be.
Well, a big adventure is in my future. Next year, 2008, my mom, Rochelle, Bella
Bean Dog, and myself hit the road. Yep, ROAD TRIP! My mom has traveled lots. She
has done a number of road trips as well, including a couple weeks on good old
Route 66 last year. This trip will take us much further than that. The goal is a
year on the road.
A year road trip, hell yeah. This is what I was made for...I am a SUBARU OUTBACK
after all.
