Tips

  1. Book in advance, there is nothing worse than driving around late at night hoping for pet friendly accommodation.  All Motel 6 locations allow pets with not additional charge.  In fact, Motel 6 promotes itself as pet friendly with none other than Jack Hannah as there spokesperson.  I Motel 6!

  2. Be considerateWe want to continue the trend of increasing numbers of pet friendly lodging.  Don't allow your pets on the furniture or beds.  If you have one that just has to snuggle at night make sure you have a blanket for them to protect the furniture and bedding.

  3. If possible, do not leave your pet alone in the room.  If you must leave them for a short time; confine them to a carrier.  If they are not accustomed to a carrier then spend some time before your trip to kennel train them.

  4. Check with front desk for recommended pet care professionals.
